22 April, 2022 (Singapore) – Team Flash is looking to continue their winning streak at this year’s Free Fire World Series after a successful season at the recently concluded Vietnam Free Fire League Series A 2022 Spring.
The team, which comprises players Nguyễn Anh Quân “BEO”, Nguyễn Quốc Trưởng “CEO”, Huỳnh Quốc Phú “Brian”, Nguyễn Thành Nhân “Floren”, Nguyễn Ngọc Trầm “Shin” and Trần Quang Linh “Bloody”, emerged first in the local series and secured their spot in the finals of the Free Fire World Series. The Free Fire World Series will take place from 14 to 21 May at Sentosa and will see a total of 22 teams from all around the world vying for a chance to win USD$2mil. Team Flash have secured their spot in the finals on 21 May and will compete against teams including LOUD (BRA), EVOS Phoenix (THA), EVOS Divine (IND), who secured a place through their respective qualifiers.
When asked about how he felt attending the World Series, team captain Nguyễn Anh Quân “BEO” said, “The feeling is amazing. We put in a lot of hard work this season so it feels great seeing everything come to fruition. Our team is made up of a combination of veteran and new players, so I think that gives us an added advantage too as not only can we tap on the experience and wisdom of our seasoned players, but also have our young members add a new dimension to our play. We look forward to putting our best foot forward for the World Series and are grateful to Team Flash for giving us this opportunity to grow.”
“2021 was not a smooth sailing year for our Free Fire team, but the boys have been training very hard this season so I am confident that they will do us proud at the World Series. We are thrilled to be able to host them during their stay here and look forward to bringing them around Singapore.” added Team Flash CEO, Mark Chew.
